THE LITTLE THINGS, THERE'S NOTHING BIGGER
We live in Alaska because we treasure fresh air and clean water. We value our time spent in nature and we respect this great land of ours. We carry this over to the food we cook, the beer we brew and the establishments we operate. We carry this over to you, our valued patron. It’s not just a way to conduct business, it’s a way of life and we’re proud of who we are and what we do.
Here at Skagway Brewing, we’re dedicated to carry on the pioneering spirit by bringing you the best possible meal, beer, and overall brewpub experience possible. All the while doing it in a manner that is sustainable. Aeroponics, bio-diesel, locally sourced fish, bar tops made from reclaimed lumber, and straws (should you request one) made of paper. It’s the big things, it’s the little things. It’s lessening our impact on the environment today and for future generations to come.
Skagway is a small town with a year-round population that hovers around 1,000 residents, but our brewpub is one of the largest in the State of Alaska. This is our home. We invite you to come for the beer and stay for a good time. Our Skagway brewery is where the locals hang out, a proud tradition since the infamous Days of ’98.
We invite you to become a part of that history.
Work hard.
Play harder.
Eat tasty food.
Drink good beer.
It’s that simple.
Mike Healy. Skagway Brewening Company Owner
We hear this question every day, and we are proud to say that all of our Salmon and Halibut are responsibly caught in local waters. You’re going to love our housemade beer-battered halibut. The flaky white flesh is perfectly complemented by the crispy coating and fried to perfection. These are the true flavors of Southeast Alaska prepared by chefs that live here.
Where does our fish come from?
At Skagway Brewing Co, the food you eat gets just as much love and attention as the beer. From locally sourced fresh halibut to every all-beef hamburger patty, you will taste our dedication to homemade quality. Even our tartar sauce and salad dressings are handcrafted in our custom kitchen, ensuring that every menu item is mouth-watering and savory. If you want authentic local Alaskan fare, please join us for lunch or dinner.
We are proud to offer a wide spectrum of culinary offerings, including gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly options. Our menu was crafted with individual tastes in mind, so that everyone in your party can find something delicious and satisfying. Check out our online menu for more details on all of our lunch and dinner offerings.
