The Skagway Brewing Company opened for business in 1897. A lot has changed since then, but Skagway’s love of good food and strong drink isn’t one of them. To modernize our proud tradition of raucous revelry, Skagway Brewing Co Owner, Mike Healy, sought to create something truly unique in the State of Alaska. The result is an establishment that represents the heart of Skagway with a focus on community, sustainability, and a quality product created by a dedicated team of local residents.
You can come to Brew Co (as it’s called around Skagway) for an intimate date night and enjoy a quiet dinner for two. Stop by for lunch while you’re in port on your Alaska cruise and get a taste of authentic locally-sourced Alaskan fare. Sidle up to the bar after work and enjoy an ice-cold hand crafted beer to reward yourself for a job well done.
Bring your friends to watch some of our amazing local talent light up the stage while you dance the night away. Play a game of shuffleboard or pool and order from our full service bar. You can solve the world’s problems or laugh at a dumb joke. Enjoy the sunset on our deck and take a growler full of ale back home to enjoy on your own terms.
Best of all, eat and drink well knowing that our focus is sustainability, from top to bottom. The energy that powers our building is hydroelectric. The heat in our building is created from leftover fryer oil converted into biodiesel fuel. Your greens were grown in our state-of-the-art aeroponic indoor grow room. Even your straw is biodegradable. Indulge without guilt or worry. We’re doing our part to ensure Alaska stays beautiful for your kids and your grandkids.
